Thrown by hand from Potter's Mix and B-mix clay and left raw — no glaze, just bare clay and the marks of the wheel. It hangs from a solid brass chain to a solid copper fin, neither of which will ever rust. This fin has been torch-oxidized — heat-worked to draw out rich, shifting color across the copper — and will keep deepening as it weathers. The bell rings soft and low, a subtle note that settles on a breeze. Bell and clapper measure 2.5" wide by 3" tall, with a 12" total drop from chain to fin. One of a kind, made once and never repeated.
