Thrown by hand from Potter's Mix and Brown Mountain clay and left raw — no glaze, just bare clay and the marks of the wheel. A solid brass chain and solid copper fin hang below; neither will ever rust, and both are left natural — fresh metal that will slowly deepen into a darkening patina as it weathers. The bell rings light and active — a quick, bright note that carries on a breeze. Bell and clapper measure 2" wide by 4" tall, with a 13" total drop from chain to fin. One of a kind, made once and never repeated.
