Wind bell No. 37

Raw — Lava Rock & SRF

$98

Thrown by hand from Lava Rock and SRF clay and left raw — no glaze, just bare clay and the marks of the wheel. A solid brass chain and solid copper fin hang below; neither will ever rust, and both are left natural — fresh metal that will slowly deepen into a darkening patina as it weathers. The bell rings low and resonant — a calm, settled note that lingers on the wind. Bell and clapper measure 3" wide by 6" tall, with a 15" total drop from chain to fin. One of a kind, made once and never repeated.
