Formed by hand and trimmed on the wheel from Brown Mountain clay, cup by cup, and finished with an Antique Butte satin matte glaze along each rim — a soft, aged sheen that plays against the bare clay body. Eight cups hang from a solid brass chain with brass wire fittings, both chosen because they'll never rust; instead they age into a deep, darkening patina over time. In place of a closed downspout, the chain carries rainwater from the gutter down cup to cup, turning a downpour into something you can watch and hear — a slow, glinting fall of water instead of a hidden rush through a pipe. Eight cups, each 4.25" wide by 2" tall, with an 8.5-foot total drop from gutter to ground. Ships with a V-hook for installation. One of a kind, made once and never repeated.
