Wheel-thrown from Brown Mountain clay and finished in a Jasper glaze — a surface with its own quiet character and variation across the form. A solid brass chain and solid copper fin hang below; neither will ever rust, and both are left natural — fresh metal that will slowly deepen into a darkening patina as it weathers. The bell rings bright and lively — a clear, spirited note that carries on the wind. Bell and clapper measure 2.5" wide by 3.5" tall, with an 11" total drop from chain to fin. One of a kind, made once and never repeated.
