Wheel-thrown from Lava Rock clay and finished in Tweed Matte and Opaque Blue glazes — a surface where matte texture and cool blue meet and break across the form. A solid brass chain and solid copper fin hang below; neither will ever rust, and both are left natural — fresh metal that will slowly deepen into a darkening patina as it weathers. The bell rings lively — a bright, ready note that carries on the wind. Bell and clapper measure 2.75" wide by 4.25" tall, with a 13" total drop from chain to fin. One of a kind, made once and never repeated.
