Thrown by hand from Brown Mountain clay and left raw — no glaze, just bare clay and the marks of the wheel. A solid brass chain and solid copper fin hang below; neither will ever rust, and both are left natural — fresh metal that will slowly deepen into a darkening patina as it weathers. The ring is subtle and flat — a soft, muted note that stays close and quiet. Bell and clapper measure 3.5" wide by 3.25" tall, with a 12" total drop from chain to fin. One of a kind, made once and never repeated.
