Wheel-thrown from Brown Mountain and IM-60 clay and finished in a Shino glaze — a soft, warm surface with the gentle variation the glaze is known for. A solid brass chain and solid copper fin hang below; neither will ever rust, and both are left natural — fresh metal that will slowly deepen into a darkening patina as it weathers. The ring is hollow and subtle — a soft, quiet note that settles on a breeze. Bell and clapper measure 3" wide by 3" tall, with an 11" total drop from chain to fin. One of a kind, made once and never repeated.
